We’re pleased to announce a second $250,000 donation from Winona Senior High School (WSHS) alumni Craig and Patricia Jilk.
In 2022, Craig Jilk, a 1957 graduate of WSHS, and Patricia Murphy Jilk, a 1958 WSHS graduate, established a scholarship fund with a $250,000 gift to the Foundation. The fund awarded four $5,000 scholarships annually to four WSHS graduating seniors planning to attend Winona State University to further their education.
Recently, Craig and Patricia notified the Foundation of their intention to make a second $250,000 gift to further their scholarship fund. With the gift, the four annual scholarships are now renewable scholarships at $5,000 per year for two years, for a total of $10,000 to each recipient. The couple’s generosity even allowed the four most-recently awarded scholarship winners from May 2026 to be included in the increase!
